Styopa Films is a young, independent film production company devoted to developing creative and original material that explores cinematic storytelling focused on enlightening the human spirit. Founded by writer-director Katherine Griffin and producer Jon Bachmann, the name Styopa is derived from "The Barbarians" by Maxim Gorky. Styopa is both innocent and strong, living always with a fresh outlook on life.
