Katherine Griffin
Katherine Griffin

Katherine Griffin is originally from Bloomington, Indiana and lived at more than 17 addresses by the age of 18. She has worked as a writer, director, editor, and producer on feature films, short films, and television. She has been nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards with one win for editing Top Chef.

She recently completed writing the feature film STARDUST with acclaimed film director Alfonso Arau and co-producing the award-winning feature documentary LADDIE: THE MAN BEHIND THE MOVIES. Her screenplays and pilots have been semi-finalists in the Nicholl Fellowship, Cinestory Fellowship, Zoetrope Screenplay Competition, Austin Screenwriting Competition, Page Screenwriting Awards, Tracking Board, and the UCLA Screenwriting Competition. Her spirited adventure living in her car while making the indie feature THE INNOCENTS was profiled in the Los Angeles Times. THE INNOCENTS was subsequently listed as one of the 50 Best Dramas in Phil Hall's Encyclopedia of Underground Movies: Films from the Fringes of Cinema. In a review for Film Threat Magazine, Hall stated: "Griffin has a remarkable style, with intelligent dialogue that flavors a subtle direction."

Katherine was selected to be a part of the Shonda Rhimes Masterclass on Showrunning, has been invited to direct the table read workshop with ISA at the Sundance Film Festival three years in a row, and she recently completed directing her fourth short film LE BALLON BLEU shot entirely on location in Paris.

   
   
Jon Bachman
Jon Bachmann

Jon Bachmann was born in Santa Clara, California. He focused an early passion for writing and storytelling and won his first award for fiction with the Villa Montalvo Young Writer's Competition in high school.

He was accepted into the Summer Writing Program for Young Writers at USC and went on to study Film and Creative Writing at SFSU. He produced and co-edited THE INNOCENTS, a micro-budgeted feature which screened at seventeen film festivals and was listed as one of the 50 Best Dramas in Film Threat author Phil Hall's book The Encyclopedia of Underground Movies: Films from the Fringes of Cinema. Jon moved to Los Angeles to work as a television editor while completing the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting. He won a Prime Time Emmy for editing The Amazing Race, and his screenplay THE WALL won both the UCLA Screenwriting Award and the Nate Wilson Award. .

During this time, he collaborated with filmmaker Katherine Griffin, co-writing and producing three short films: USE AS DIRECTED, ROSE COLORED WORLD and LE BALLON BLEU.
