WELCOME TO STYOPA FILMS
Styopa Films is an independent film production company devoted to developing creative and commercial material that explores cinematic storytelling focused on enlightening the human spirit. Founded by Emmy Award winners Katherine Griffin (writer-director-editor) and Jon Bachmann (writer-producer-editor), the name Styopa is derived from "The Barbarians" by Maxim Gorky. Styopa is both innocent and strong, living always with a fresh outlook on life.
